[RC] summer heat feed - Tracey SmithWell, Bruce I am glad to hear you've tried and liked it as your post really made me think I'm on to something with this stuff. I initially toyed with this feed last summer when the feed store had some "on sale" and used it mainly as a treat now and then. But after Bluebonnet (Amira was NOT on Summer Heat yet then) when she hit the wall I realized I needed a more consistent energy source and she's not eating it as a regular feed, but when doing a longer or harder ride I will also carry some in a baggie on trail with me and she gobbles it up. I have heard it's hard to find in some areas but am lucky my local feed store carries it year round since they supply feed to the race track. Tracey
