And endurance must be marketed as a brand to the public and corporate sponsors so that amateur riders can receive grants and stipends to train together and attend more clinics. "We need to grow our support from our leading [Arabian] breed organization and discipline club," Priesz added. This financial base would allow USEF to fully implement its 10-year plan, which would help the U.S. regain its competitive course. "Our goal is to develop a permanent training center for our national team to train with an indoor arena and a veterinary lab," said Priesz. "It would be a permanent endurance village like they have overseas.
