[RC] Visualize Endurance Ranch Community - Beverley H. Kane, MDIn the next 2 years, my husband and I plan to relocate from Silicon Valley, CA to a rural ranch setting. I would like to join or start a community of endurance enthusiasts/ranchers to share love of horses and trail riding and ranch activities. The ideal situation is: - 3-4 single-family houses in Northern California within an hour or so of cultural center, airports. Non-horsey hubby is library/literature aficionado and budding jazz pianist, also a computer genius so must have high speed Internet - Common barn/shelter and pasture for a herd of no less than 4 horses, preferably at least 10 - Within 1/2 hr of ocean - Politically & socially progressive, or progressive-tolerant, endurance riders - Possibility for conducting small equine experiential learning workshops and EAP (equine-assisted psychotherapy) onsite Willing to consider Oregon or Southern CA. Not interested in developer-devised gated-type communities w/ CCRs, etc. Please PM me if you know of or are interested in such an arrangement, even if you're reading this in archives 2 years from now.
