Hi Dot -
I had a Paint mare that broke out in hives after her vaccinations. She had 
already had the exact same combo shot 4 or 5 times, but for some reason she 
developed a reaction. Vet gave her antihistamine shot and put her on 
steroids. Cleared up in about a week. After that she had to have  all her 
vaccines separately, and then she didn't react. I also had a Paint gelding 
that broke out in hives after a bug bite, but they cleared up within hours.
