Bowers at Southland Farms, Vern Biehl and ALL the folks who helped organize and
run (and clear trail and haul water for) the ride this weekend. Thanks to
the vets: Beasom, Hewitt and Garlinghouse for helping look after our horses.
The trails were tough BUT they were awesome in beauty…..
wild flowers, lush greenery, ocean views, technical single track trails, long
climbs.
If you want some great trails to train on for Tevis, this is
the place.
The trail markings were great and there was ample water all
along the trail. Completion awards and other prizes were very nice as
well.
Put it on your calendar for next year. It is hoped to
be even better next year. It is a MUST do ride.
