Re: Fw: [RC] Lactic Acid Is Not Muscles' Foe, It's Fuel - Truman PrevattI went to a distance riding clinic in the early 90's when our very own Dane Fraizer was saying basically the same thing as this article - well in advance of TI ever thinking about an endurance horse. There are few inaccuracies in the article in that in the early 60's my track coach understood - as many good ones did - the role of lactic acid. One of the goals of interval training (which in human track predates 1960) is based on the concept of adapting the body to use lactic acid as a fuel.Truman Dot Wiggins wrote: I can just hear Ti saying "I tried to tell you this!!" -- "Mathematics may be defined as the subject in which we never know what we are talking about, nor whether what we are saying is true." - Bertrand Russell =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
