"We" didn't close our campground to others--USFS reserved it for us.  And in my experience, what fails to endear us to others is having 100 riders come in and camp on top of a bunch of people who came out for a peaceful weekend.  In general, folks like to know when there is a big event planned (not just endurance, but also bicycle races, runs, kite-flying contests, you-name-it) so they can go somewhere else to camp anyway.

Second issue: Closing trail and camp ground to all but enduro
participants. As the one lady pointed out absolutely correctly: that
won't endear us to anyone. Share, ya'll!!!!!
