Where are you located. I recommend you find a Barefoot Trimmer in your area. My horse was very flatfooted and he is on the Barefoot trim and does GREAT on even Rocky Ground. I use Easy boots Epic and they do really great. My Barefoot trimmer had them fitted for my horse. I have had the greatest results.
Talk to Darylyn Butler about it. She is also in Tx and has done many rides and miles on barefoot horses.

I'm looking for a way to protect my flat soled endurance horse from stone bruises when training on rocky trails and gravel roads. Have used easy boots in the past but they wear out the bottom after a month or so of training and my horse is between a size one and size 2 so hard to get them to fit right. I was thinking of trying Bosana boots and wondered how they hold up and if you had to leave a lot of shoe hanging out the back. He tends to pull shoes in the pasture. Not sure his hooves would hold up barefoot or with non steel shoes. Thanks for your help. Kathy Crothers
