Re: [RC] Is there a "Consumer Reports" for horse trailers? - Laney Humphreyhttp://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/newhome.aspThis is a good site although it isn't exactly a "consumer reports." If you can get to a horse expo or other event where lots of trailers are being displayed, it's lots of fun and very educational to "kick tires" on row after row of trailers. Pretty soon, you'll be able to identify features you want and ones you can live without. As for used trailers, once you've seen what's offered in new ones, you can look for used trailers that are similar. One word of advice, look for a dealer/salesperson who actually uses trailers off road the way we endurance people do. They will know what features we need and which we'll never use. Quite a few trailer manufacturers/dealers are now AERC sponsors. I would think they would be a great place to start. Good luck!
