Re: [RC] 100's - rides2farThat is one of the most honest assessments I have seen. It is yet another level of pain. It's going on when you would rather not. It's reaching down and finding something extra to leave the vet check when you could call it a day. For me, personally, it's another level of cheap. Once I've paid that entry fee, it hurts worse to waste the money than to keep going. You know, honestly, I've hurt some, but I hurt worse on 50's when I was just starting out and let buckles rub and crap like that. I've been really *sleepy* but I don't think it's anything for people who haven't done one to go "OOOH" and "AHHH" over. I can honestly say I haven't had to try a 100 on a horse that didn't want to go. I guess that would be tough but once you're ready...it's just not *that* bad. I remember Nina Warrren telling me, "It never gets easy...it's always AWFUL". After I did my first 100 I thought, "Darn that Nina, she's just been telling me that to cut down on the competition."
