Karen, my Larry rode a 14 hand 1 in old style
quarter horse. Larry is 5 ft 10 in. He never did look big on that
horse. I doubt if your hubby will look big either. That morgan of
yours is built like a s*** brickhouse and will carry him just fine.
Larry's old Sparky had a short neck too. She carried Larry just fine and
always gave him a buck, never to kids or me, whenever he got on her. Go
for it and hang on to that horse that is special to you.
