I forwarded it to hubby, who is sporadic in his use of a breast collar. I believe that one saved me years ago on a horse who spun and bolted (the well-fitting saddle still turned, but only as far as the breastcollar allowed it). I managed to stay on and unhurt, and I believe the breastcollar was a major factor. Glad your horse came out okay from his injuries. OUCH! Yes, all you naysayers, there are 'risks' to using a breastcollar, such as getting a tree branch caught it in, etc, but I think the pros usually far outweigh the cons..
