Re: [RC] selling "older" horses - Karen Everhart

Marlene,

Those who know horses and ride distance will understand the value of Vaneza (I think I spelled that right).  Those who do not, are looking for something CHEAP - read under $1000.00 - and generally young - 4-6. Those type folks would not be a good choice for Vaneza anyway.

Also, the market is nearly saturated due to a number of issues:  too many babies, too many unwanted horses, excellent health care so animals can compete longer and longer, etc.

Vaneza has come a long, long way since I first met you at the Horse Gathering.  Anyone who might buy her would be getting a diamond.

PS - When I saw that you had purchased the facility, I knew I would hear soon that you are way too busy to ride as I find myself in the same predicament just running a rescue and I don't have to deal with the "people" aspect!!
