Re: [RC] [RC] LASIK (was Did you know??) - Truman PrevattAs long as you have your own lens you can get cataracts. So although someone has Lasik to correct the focal point of their own lens, they can still get cataracts and have to have an implant later on.I was actually quite young to get cataracts. However, I started wearing contacts in 1970 before they had gas permeable material. Turns out I was depriving my eye of oxygen for some number of years and which brought on the cataracts at a young age. However, being close to legally bind and not have to have any correction (except for reading) isn't so bad. So don't mind me if some day if I tack it to your back and follow you - I'm not drafting I'm reading my map ;-) . I really wish all I had to do was the Lasik procedure. -- "Mathematics may be defined as the subject in which we never know what we are talking about, nor whether what we are saying is true." - Bertrand Russell =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
