Re: [RC] Was LASIK-Now Paragon CRT - jillcohndc Well--I avoid any surgery like the plague so was delighted to discover Paragon CRT. I have astigmatism and far and near problems and hate wearing glasses. Paragon CRT are hard lenses customized for me that I put in BEFORE I go to sleep and remove in the AM when I get up. It's like a retainer for my eyes--changes their shape. I am totally happy with this arrangement and recommend it. Ask the manufacturer for practioners referrals. Best to you all--
Jill in Berkeley, CA

I opted for correction of both eyes for distance, and am still 20/20 -- but I need reading glasses for presbyopia if I want to read small print -- which was true before I had LASIK, as well; although I can read newspaper print without glasses post-LASIK). It really felt good to go down to the DMV a few months later and get the "corrective lenses" addition taken off my driver's license -- it had been there since I got my first license at 14! -- Lynn Kinsky, Santa Ynez, CA http://www.silcom.com/~lkinsky/ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
