Don't you just love how our current health care system works: if your problem is only a little bit bad, no help for you but after you've suffered and been inconvienced and maybe been a danger to yourself and others and the cost of fixing the problem has risen astronomically, then insurance will pay for it. Does not make sense to me!

*OMG, I could have written that. I went to be evaluated and was told the exact same thing Friday. Unfortunately (or not) my cataracts are now that bad and insurance would not pay for them. Once they do get that bad (according to the insurance company) they would be paid for. To have the cataract removal and crystalens put in would run about $8500 if I had it done now.*
