I purchased the Garmin Forerunner 301 GPS/HRM from V-MAX (http://www.vmaxept.com/masterpage.htm) which was modified for the horse.

 

I can’t rave enough about it!  I had a link to a review that was written by April ?? but the link no longer works…  But April might reply and post her review again.
