Re: [RC] Other English pads - Mel - Jody Rogers-ButtramWell, I agree with most of this, and something that I was told about the Cair panels, (which I own two of) is that they can hold in heat, causing heat bumps. I did have that happen to me. It was a three day pioneer ride, and the weather was cool and raining. So, the vets said, you don't have to pull tack all the vet checks. Well, I did pull it "most" of the time. But did leave it on for some shorter checks. Results. my horse's back peeled. She had little bumps that came up, and they peeled. I don't know that the saddle is all it, but seems logical. Now, that no saddle will fit all horses. I am the big OF user here, and I have NEVER found a horse that either of the OF doesn't fit. I have used it on skinny horses, round horses, average horses, horses with a long back, horses with a short back. It has always fit. Straight out of the box, with no custom fitting.
Jody My comments are to point out that good saddle
