Is it just me or is today "National How Many Dumb Emails Can You Get In 
Your Ebox Day"?

We interested in Distance Riding should be violently AGAINST S 1915.  This 
amendment... REPEAT AMENDMENT!!!!!... does some minor shuffling of existing 
paragraphs, adds a couple of definitions and adds one provision to the 
ALREADY EXISTING horse slaughter bill.  The MAJOR change in this amendment is:

`(1) The Secretary may detain for examination, testing, or the taking of 
evidence--

`(A) any horse at any horse show, horse exhibition, or horse sale or 
auction that is sore or that the Secretary has probable cause to believe is 
sore; and

`(B) any horse or other equine that the Secretary has probable cause to 
believe is being shipped, transported, moved, delivered, received, 
possessed, purchased, sold, or donated in violation of section 5(8).'.

Dr Q and I will be at your next ride to record all your numbers as you 
cross the finish line and turn them over to the waiting federal officers 
who will then "detain" or take your horse for testing.  Good luck!
