I remember someone saying that one should do the purge on an empty stomach (horse, not human <G>). Is that correct? And if so, how long after dosing the horse should one wait before feeding? Our herd is out on pasture and free choice hay 24/7, so they never actually have empty stomachs.

My back is so very slowly improving, but I will not be able to ride (as in train/LD) for some time. Yesterday we spread Jerry's ashes by the creek. Our horses knew what we were doing. Lyric wrapped her neck around Danielle and held her for several minutes. I was on Sierra our 25 year old quarter horse who was her perfect self.
