[RC] The Clarks' Trace tale - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Peggy Clark tlcsporthorses@xxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== 'Twas a new ride in March in green Tennessee me and Tim with two girls took horses - count three! what a pretty place to hold this new ride directions were great - no getting lost - really, we tried! camp in the cornfield was huge so we could spread out but rain would bring trouble of this there was no doubt lots of room at the vet check and lots of good grass we got a good crew spot the pre-ride check we all passed. Saturday started very early! controlled behind a white truck a good pace he did set, then the trail, we all struck. Turn-y and twisty up hill and cross ditch out to the far point then back we did switch. through the first check we passed with good scores out on loop two our spirits a-soar! we cantered and trotted steep hills and good flats had way loads of fun and that's where its at! up the big hill to finish the ride we all earned top ten kids beaming with pride. Mary Kathryn and Emily on grey mares count two earned 4th and 5th in BC proud of them, I am, its true. and the big grey giraffe the horse in my heart did give me a gift - BC!!! to the new season, a good start! Angie and David, Eva and Roger, with all their volunteers, did a phenomenal job putting this ride together. From our perspective, it was a beautiful, well run ride and a great weekend. Kudos, guys...we'll be back!
