Re: [RC] Define Colic - Dabney FinchGood question, kat. I thought of it too, as I wrote....Kaizen had no signs from which the ride vet thought he was colicy, but to me he looked unhappy and he was not all that interested in eating. I knew he was well within condition for what we'd been doing, so I started to think what it could be. I remembered the elyting, and that's when I realized I'd accidentally given him a double dose. So, from that I concluded I'd given him a tummy ache. ----- Original Message ----- From: <katswig@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, March 23, 2006 6:34 PM Subject: [RC] Define Colic Dabney said: I haven't either, but I did cause a tummy ache once (just not to the colic stage)...
For those of you who make a distinction between these, at what 'stage' does a tummy ache become colic? It is difficult to talk about whether something causes colic or not if we aren't all using the word colic in the same way. kat Orange County, Calif.
