[RC] French Team - Donna Coss

Didn't I read somewhere that the French riders condition their horses without electrolytes? And also do not use them in competition?

After discussing this with a veterinarian who scopes many horses,
some who are racing, and under stress,  his opinion is that riders should 
relieve the
acid buildup immediately following a race and not during the race!

Thus his opinion to give a one time treatment of Gastro-guard
