I was just wondering how you stopped the bucking. In my experience, the only reason they buck is if you haven't handled them sufficiently for them to be ready to be saddled. We had one such episode with a mare that was actually being saddled for about the third time--girthed her up too quickly, had her set back, break loose, and go over a bank, whereupon she had a major bucking episode and took out a fence. Set her back something awful. And all our fault. But that's the only bucking episode I've seen in years with a young horse.
