RE: [RC] worming - Susan E. Garlinghouse, D.V.M.

Heck, no, don’t give them a day off.  Keep ‘em working.  Fenbendazole has an incredibly wide range of safety, so it’s not like the old days where they felt cruddy about a deworming.  The only horse I’d rest would be one that probably wasn’t up to being worked in the first place.

If you are worming your horse (5 day panacur purge) do you stop riding them or working them for those days or for longer?
