   I have kept mares and geldings together for over twenty years now, 
and never had a gelding "rape" a mare, or succeeded in any other amorous 
advance, for that matter. "For twenty years they've kept their 
virginity. Not a bad record for this vicinity."
   There was, however, one documented case of a gelding convicted of 
raping a mare. His punishment, of course, was that he would spend the 
rest of his life.......................................in the pen.   Dr
