Infact they got along just fine. I is my understanding that if a young stallion is gelded eairly in life, the desire to have sex is deminished greatly-as opposed to haveing them gelded at say, 4 or 5 when their hormones have been "established". Another place that I boarded at, they were all mixed-plus the owner was able to keep an older mare-who still came into heat, with a stallion in the same pasture. He respected her and never tried anything.
