[RC] 100 Mile Clinic PS region - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: kim kimfue@xxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== As some may have heard at 20 MT last weekend, the Hog Wild ride on April 16 and 17 has been cancelled. This opens up a week end for the 100 mile clinic that some of you have requested. FX Arabian Sport Horses will host the clinic at the ranch on San Francisquito Canyon Rd which is 16 miles west of Palmdale. It will be a one day clinic that will focus on the 100 mile distance with some emphasis on the Tevis Cup. The speakers who have agreed to participate are all experienced PS region 100 mile riders and are: Vicky Greene - 20 Tevis Completions Suzy Kelley - 18 100 mile completions with 10 wins and 8 BCs Tammy Robinson - 20 100 mile completions and 2003 Pan Am PS Squad member Dabney Finch - 12 100 mile completions Jane McGrath- 11+ 100 mile completions Charlene Lewis - 8 100 mile completions Each of these riders has a different approach to the 100 mile ride and has accomplished different goals at this distance. This clinic will be open to all level of riders but will geared towards riders that already have a backround in distance riding and are interested in moving up to the 100 mile distance or improving their performance at the 100 mile distance. The clinic will run from about 9:00 - 4:00. The cost is going to be around $35.00 and will include lunch. If you are interested in attending please e mail me for more details.
