Re: [RC] [RC] ? gaited arabs? - Agilbxr

Appy's can carry the gait wiring. They are called shufflers. A friends appy
gelding out of one of the nicest trotting mares and a cutting bred quarter
horse gaits. He does the nicest singlfoot. Looks like a buckskin tank of a
quarter horse. Until he moves. Then people go "what is that??" His full
sibling would gait if they hadn't insisted on a trot. She still tries from
time to time, but is more pacey.

The shuffling appys used to be valued as great riding horses until the show
crowd decided that appy's shouldn't gait.

Either way, Huckie is one heck of a trail horse, and fun to ride. Especially
since he has a naturally collected, ride off into the sunset canter that I
would pay good money to get my horse to do. But that's another thing all
together...

Juli and Alpine (I don't like Huckie, he steals my food and can beat me up...)
