[RC] Stirrup Safety - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

Hi, everyone -

I was wondering about the relative safety of endurance stirrups? - I usually
ride in english breakaway stirrups and I've always heard that western-style
stirrups can be dangerous if you get a foot caught up in them.

Are endurance stirrups any safer than regular western stirrups? Is it possible
to get your feet caught in them, or does the depth of the stirrup help prevent
this? I would love to have a wider, padded place to rest my feet on long trail
rides!

Thanks,
Beth & Sparky
