Nice try "Fellow who Steph asked to stay off RC but posts as a guest".
All I asked was whether the team should have an agreement that the
nominator's agree to not sell.  Val has been very kind to me every time
we've met, let me camp in her driveway and eat at her table. She even
gave me a drink of her coffee at the last VC of the Pan Ams (which I
accepted just to say I drank after her at times like this!) and I've
loaned her an easyboot on the trail (how close can you get?). The second
Bear Cat didn't vet in she jumped right in and crewed. No airs, ultimate
professional. I have absolutely no desire to put her down in any way. 
All I asked was a hypothetical question about the *next* International
team.
