RE: [RC] Arabian "type" - Clarification - Adam and JannelleGads, when I re-read this I guess someone or ones could think I meant that any horse over 15H had a good chance of being "out of whack". What I meant was that within the preservation breeding group, when trying to breed for height, you could just ask for problems by only looking at height and not matching animals, etc...just wanted to clarify in case anyone's thinking I'm slamming their horse that's over 15H!LOL...hope not but I'd rather err on the safe side:) Jannelle Jannelle Wilde & Adam Falk Menagerie Farm 584 Romie Howard Rd Yoncalla OR 97499 541-849-2460 (phone & fax) 866-241-1531 Toll-free ASK ABOUT OUR DAVENPORT FOALS! www.cmc.net/~mfarm you will rarely see particularly tall Arabian horses (over 15h) except where people are breeding specifically for this and then, it's my personal feeling, that sometimes other "parts" get out of whack and you might not have as nicely put together horse as if you had stayed with the shorter "version". =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
