When Max died, trust me, I went over and over and over it in my mind about what I could have done differently. I didnt' need anyone on Ridecamp to tell me. I already beat myself up far more than they could have.
I agree with you about Bev and Paladin. I met Bev through email, but haven't met her in person yet. In fact, the colt who broke his leg was one she was interested in. We had quite a correspondence about him and she decided to go for a horse a little older and more ready to start.
If she is anything in person like she is in email, then I consider her a very classy and kind person and wish her and Paladin the very best.
I'm sure Bev has replayed the incident in her mind a thousand times and I'm sure she has Paladin's best interest at heart.
