Re: [RC] I do know where Bev was - Lucie Hess

It appears to me that you were saying Bev didn't care about her horse, why else would you question where she was when the horse was sick?  I also think Steve was saying that the horse enjoyed doing his job as an endurance horse and he hoped the horse would be back out on the trail again.. Just a nice pleasant remark.  Not saying he should go out and be trashed again.

I was at the ride.  I don't think this horse was over ridden.

None of the US riders were even in the front runner bunch.  They were riding very slow, so they could complete as a team
Something went terribly wrong with him during the ride.  Perhaps a stroke or something.  I'm curious as to who is giving you this good information, for you to make judgemnts on.

I do know where Bev was during that. I know who was present during the hole scene. I feel that great horse deserves to be allowed to live a wonderful non-stressful life after that. I do not feel it was hateful. If you had any understanding of what that horse went thru, you'd wish the same for him.

If it was a international rider instead of an american rider, ridecampers would want the rider banned.
