When we left CA for New Mexico, I never looked back.  I have to say, 
no matter how hard it is living here - altitude, aridity, wind, 
extreme temperature ranges - it's not as bad as coastal California 
winters.  I hope you all come through this winter in good shape, and 
wish everyone on RideCamp a Happy New Year and best wishes for 2006.
