I hope that you , your friends, Families , horses and pets came through 
todays storm unscathed....

I've been rolling from one incident to another since 6 am this morning on 
engine 2921 and I just got home.   We are all fine up here on the summit of 
the Santa Cruz Mts, cut off by mudslides and fallen trees but safe. However  
from radio traffic I gather that there are many less fortunate souls out 
there.

I'm gonna get some sleep and then prepare for tomorrows storm which they say 
is going to hit just as hard

Wishing everyone on Ridecamp a happy new year


ps: after 16 hrs the power just came back on as I'm typing
