[RC] bananas - Heidi Vanderbilt

One of my horses LOVES bananas. I asked my vet if they were ok, and he said he didn't know and hadn't heard of any other horses who ate them. Anyone out there with knowledge of bananas for horses, or a similar experience with a horse who likes them?
