[RC] Rider's Christmas present - Ridecamp Guest

My awesome husband gave me Timex Time & Distance Watch.I can hardly wait to use 
it - have to wait for the weather to clear here in MW though! Can anyone who 
uses one of these watches tell me how they use the horse's heart monitor along 
with it? Do I have to be concerned about interfearance of any kind?
