Re: [RC] Hock sores - desertflyer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxUsually just read all the great info that is posted on here, but decided I needed some input...My mare has always had minor "bed sores" or sores on her hocks. In the last month they have gotten worse. I can't change her living area, as she is in a run with sand. I purchased hock boots for her (neoprene) and her legs were swollen the next morning...don't know if she might be alergic? I made sure they were not tight so I don't think that was the problem. Any suggestions? I can't seem to find hock boots that aren't neoprene or ice boots(way to much money).
