[RC] [RC] Fw: riding up on friend's horses - JAMES MILLERWell, you might try using an extra long tail ( heavy enough that it will swing )on your reins. I haven't had to try this with a rider but it does work when I pony and they get too close or try to bite the horse I'm riding. When the horse bites or is too close swing the rein tail around like you are going to spank your horse but miss your horse. The horse behind you will see something coming at them and probably back off fast and throw his head up. Rider won't like this and after a few times they might get the idea that they really don't want to ride that close. If that horse is close enough that you hit him "Oops, sorry, I was aiming for my horse cause he was about to kick" Dolly #7995 --- Original Message ----- From: "Cherie" <cl705@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [RC] Fw: riding up on friend's horses I ride with a group of women in endurance and one lady friend of mine continually lets her horse ride up on all of our horses! THis horse will actually bite the rumps of our horses while riding! How do we go about convincing this woman to stop letting her horse bite our horses rumps? Any suggestions? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
