This was my point in the beginning. I was kicked at a 4-H show by a mare
that had been kicking all day and the owners had been told to keep a ribbon in
her tail. I ended up with a filleted arm. Thankfully, the shoes she was wearing
had slicked off so they sliced like a knife instead of blowing my arm apart. Had
it not been my arm it could have been a child's head. Ribbons should be worn by
kickers, period. Beccy
