If SHOWING for BC helps riders take better care of their horses, then I propose 
that ALL LDers be able to show without regard to placings.  For the novice 
rider this would be a great learning tool.  For the 'been there done that 
rider', showing for BC can take on whatever meaning they want it to be for 
them.  Personally I prefer Horse Excellance IF LD is going to be awarded some 
kind of BC.
