Ummm.  What's that got to do with BC?  Are you saying
that those who are not showing for BC don't care if
their horses are eating & drinking well?

of attention to detail after the ride, no matter what
place they finish.  Why would only riders showing for
BC take care of their horses?


Indeed, all riders "should" be paying attention to these things.  The
feedback from LD BC is one way to help to educate those who may not yet
know how best to care for their horses post ride--in particular, those
who rode the course a bit closer to 50-mile speeds.
