Heidi was referring to West region vets not giving AERC LD BC. Sorry if you 
misunderstood that. Yes, the vets/RMs will often have a 'Horse Excellence' 
award, but as several have already explained if AERC forms at not used, it 
just ain't a AERC LD BC.  
  
You want names? Look at any EN or any Year book - it's there in black & white 
which rides in the West and Pacific South regions don't give LD BC - Melissa 
Ribley, Nancy Elliot, Michele Rousch, Dave Nicholson, etc. just to name a 
few. They are all great vets. I know Melissa and Nancy personally, think the 
world of them, but they don't give LD BC. Melissa Ribley even wrote a letter 
which was posted in EN a few months ago about not giving AERC LD BC.  


Thank you, Jeanne.  And Diane, your demagoguery in response to my faulty
memory was laughable.  I don't live or ride in the W region, so how on
earth can I depend upon my memory to dredge up the names, even though
I've heard them?

Jeanne, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it Michele who was quoted in
this forum as saying something to the effect that it was simply too much
work to expect ride vets to judge LD BC?
