'Way back when' I was a kid my dad would take my sisters and I to see the
Lippizans in Louisiana...and I know I've heard advertisements on the radio for
it here in Austin as recently as this year, so they're still touring...maybe
look up a website? It's an awesome show...
The movie that you were referring to was "The Miracle of the White
Stallions" starring Robert Taylor and produced by Disney. Several years ago, a
friend gave me a copy of the video. Good flick! I haven't seen the
performances here in the states, but we took our son to the Spanish Riding
School in Vienna a few years ago to see the Lipizzans perform. You're
right, it's a beautiful spectacle of horsemanship. Hope this
