I just haven't figured out how to pull off this weightless thing myself. What I need to know is what endurance or Aussie saddles have**forward** leathers and no knee pads ? :-)If the stirrups are "forward" your torso will be "forward" to get over them (as in a proper jumping position.) Why would where you legs hang affect your posture when sitting and not in two point? Why would someone who is riding fast when using their stirrups not move their center forward? Having spent a lot of years skating, the faster the mass moves forward, the more ones center must move into the speed .... right? Good for jumping, but a killer on the lower back after hours in the saddle. Angie (who did her first 50 in a jumping saddle) Well I haven't done a fifty, but I have routinely done 3-4 hour pleasure trail rides and using a close contact jumping saddle is very comfortable for me. And I do not sit going uphill, I always am in two point. I have spent more of my life figure skating and other athletics things like racquetball, so it might be a matter of conditioning, or that my jumping saddle fits me well. Wish I could find an endurance saddle that feels like that. -- Cheers, Fay "There is no snooze button on a cat who wants breakfast." =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
