Re: [RC] Sweaty Morgan - Sisu West RanchI know that this advice is blasphemy, but if he is an outdoor horse just ride him at a walk until he is basically cool and then turn him loose. I did this for 30 years in WI with no ill effects.Note: Things are different at rides. I carefully blanket etc. like everyone else. Horses are not free to walk around like at home. They are much more fatigued than after a training ride etc. Another possibility is to find a good 100% wool (not polyester fleece0 or shoddy (reprocessed wool) blanket liner. Put the liner on him and a blanket and either walk for awhile or just turn out in a small paddock. The wool will absorb the sweat, but not get soggy like cotton, and in a short time he will be dry and you can turn out.
