==========================================

Hi All,

Does anybody here have any experience conditioning during winter weather with
a treadmill? I saw one listed on ebay and was thinking when the snow and mud
keep us from riding that a treadmill might help keep a little condtioning in
place or get an early start in the spring. Not much in the way of trails near
the house, but we have lots of nice neighbors and not mucking up their fields
is a way to keep it that way!!

You're correct, but it can't be the kind of treadmill on which the horse can
barely get into a trot. Has to be a high speed treadmill where extended trot,
canter and gallop--and significantly elevated heartrates--can be achieved.
