Re: [RC] RC: Alfalfa Pellets - Chris PausYes, they did ose a good customer. up until the moldy feed issue, I had written them a testimonial with photos of how well my boy was doing on their feed. I don't know what changed, but a horse who would always gallop up to his feed pan would just sniff at it and walk away. I started him on the Kent product and he's back to galloping up for his dinner and he's put weight back on. I was getting very worried about him. I'm not going to risk his health again to go back and give Purina a try. It's not worth it to me.
I still do use a Purina product.. I use their "Country Acres" sweet feed. I feed very little of it. A 50 pound bag lasts me 2 weeks among 8 horses! The stallion and his little weanling companion are the only ones who get any supplemental feeds. The others are embarrasingly fat on pasture and hay.
