[RC] * Oro passed his vet exam today ! * - Cat ^. .^ ~Oro is such a good boy !!! X-RAYS should NO signs of arthritis, laminitis, coffin bone fractures or bruises or anything ! But the films did show that instead of 1.2 mm of foot under coffin bone there is only .8 mm. I'll get him special boots to allow his feet to grow out so that I don't have to shoe him. He has nice feet and legs otherwise!!! Passed his flexion test with flying colors as well! He has a respiratory infection and I will get the blood tests back on Wed. Since he has been underweight for a while the vet suggested giving him something for tape worms, too. I am so thrilled there is nothing serious. He is such a good boy. And for 18.5 years old to have NO major problems is JUST the GREATEST !!! And he is so kind and athletic. Such a smart boy too. He is doing fabulously at his new boarding facility as well!!! The owner is such a nice woman and had him turned out in a HUGE area with some other nice horses and he had plenty of room to get away when they are playing. He has been there four days and not one new bite mark. And he got to canter across the turnout area today . . . . it was so fun to watch! He is putting on weight nicely as well. I have him on lease for a month and will definitely buy him before the end of that period. I am so happy I found a stable and kind Arab with some athletic ability. What a guy Oro is !
